This week I took my son to Wave Hill...
The Wave Hill House, a grey stone mansion built in 1843, is listed on the National Historic Registry. Theodore Roosevelt's family rented the house during the summers of 1870 and 1871, and Mark Twain leased it from 1901 to 1903. This is also where I got married almost two years ago...

These wedding day pictures were taken by Courtney Davidson. It was an amazing night-- we were surrounded by lots of friends and family...and the most gorgeous fall foliage.
Okay, back to our trip this week...
What a wonderful place to visit; and the couple is so lovely... really looks like they were made for each other! (Had to go back to read... it's you?) :)
ReplyDeleteYes. These are a few of my wedding photos- they showcase the fall folliage in the northeast. Wave Hill is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of NYC...and all 8.1 million people :)
ReplyDeleteMy first visit to Wave Hill was for your wedding. I've since been back and Wave Hill has become one of my favorite places to go to get away from the frenetic pace of the city... without having to leave the city.
